Andrew Sr. and wife Ann, came to America pursuing the American Dream. Their ambitions were set on uncovering opportunities to build a lasting and prosperous legacy for generations to come.
Andrew Sr. established a reputation built on his strategic ability to find opportunities in purchasing real estate. Early on in his career, he owned a small restaurant in downtown Rochester. This single diner establishment laid the ground work for years to come, of him acquiring a significant amount of Rochester real estate.
As time went on, Andrew instilled within his children the importance of owning real estate, often reminding them, "go into real estate and own your own things. That way no one can take them away from you."
Shortly after graduating John Marshall High School in 1953, Gus Chafoulias began following the entrepreneurial footsteps of his father. Slowly building his real estate portfolio and a lifetime of achievements. Gus, at one time was said to have owned more than 98 properties.
Gus played an iconic role in leading the development and landscape of Rochester, MN, as we know it today.
His son Andrew C. Chafoulias, has since followed in his father's (and grandfather's) foot steps, placing his stamp of influence on the Rochester community with new and innovative developments.
